Environment Canada has advised the following which may result in transit/delivery delays – “A low pressure system moving through southwestern BC is bringing snow to the Kootenay Pass. Periods of snow at times heavy will continue through much of the day before it tapers off late afternoon. Snowfall accumulations of near 25 cm at the summit can be expected.”

Multiple Weather Warning may contribute to transit and delivery delays on the island. Rainfall Warning – up to 80mm possible causing localized flooding. Winter Storm Warning resulting in blowing snow and up to 20cm accumulation – may cause hazardous travel conditions.
